Aikido with an Aloha Spirit
Fort Collins Aikikai is a member dojo of Aikido of Hawaii International (AHI)), founded by the late Robert Kubo Shihan in 1963. Through AHI, we are affiliated with the Aikikai Foundation, and the Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo Japan. The current president of AHI is Thomas Walsh Sensei (Rokudan) of Edgewater, Florida.
![]() | We provide traditional Aikido instruction in a welcoming environment, honoring our club’s roots in both Japanese and Hawaiian traditions. When performed at a high level, Aikido is a wonder to behold and experience. Training in Aikido provides students with a level of body awareness and control that few other martial arts can match. The art of Aikido is a life-long study, but the benefits of training in Aikido are appreciated immediately by almost everyone. |
